Jazzercise Delafield Center located in Delafield, Wisconsin was very generous to donate an abundance of toys and gifts to our patients at Rogers Memorial Hospital Oconomowoc. May was National Health Awareness month and Delafield Jazzercise owner Ann Lestina, promoted collecting “coping skills” items for the patients at Rogers Memorial hospital during the entire month.
At Rogers, patients learn how everyday items can be used as powerful therapeutic tools to calm their minds and bodies. These “emotional toolkits’” will help equip patients with a variety of coping skills needed to help them manage their mental health and well-being. These emotional toolkits can range from anything from stuffed animals, journals, stress balls, bubbles, or crossword books. All of these items can make a huge impact on our patients at Rogers.
A special thank you to Jazzercise and everyone that donated during the month of May! Your donations will directly impact the patients at Rogers.
