Legacy Gift
Include Rogers in your will
Your will plays an important role to provide for your loved ones. It can be part of your long-time planning for charitable gifts, too.
A gift made through a will or living trust is easy to arrange and flexible. There is no limit on amounts deductible from federal gift and estate taxes for charitable gifts made by will or trust. So, no tax will be due on assets given in this way.
When you update or make your will, your attorney or you can add a few sentences that will assure a gift to Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation. You can designate the bequest to a specific cause within our purpose of serving patients will mental illness.
The bequest should read:
“I give ___________ (residue, percentage, or specific amount, real estate, stocks) to Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation, Inc., at 34700 Valley Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066, for its purposes of supporting mental health treatment.”
Our tax ID number is 39-1363507
Charitable Gift Annuities
Through a contract, you agree to make a donation of cash, stocks or other assets to Rogers Foundation. In return, you (and someone else, if you choose) receive a fixed amount each year for the rest of your lifetime. The dollar amount you will receive is fixed and depends on your age. There may be specific benefits to this particular giving, including: tax deduction, capital gains tax savings, and reducing your taxable estate.
